About This Course

If you are interested in a full- or part-time diving career, then this is your first step on the professional ladder. You will develop your knowledge to a professional level, and learn how to supervise diving activities and assist with other divers in training. The minimum age is 18 years.

    • Role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
    • Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
    • Diver safety and risk management
    • Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
    • Business of diving and your career
    • Awareness of the dive environment
    • Dive setup and management
    • Mapping an open water site
    • Conducting dive briefings
    • Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
    • Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
    • Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs

 

  • As a potential applicant you can visit PADI online to get familiar with the contents and insights of the Divemaster course.
  • Another option is to study by reading the Divemaster Manual and watching the Divemaster Video, both paired in a package deal.
  • don’t forget to bring a copy of a valid passport
  • medical statement from your doctor stating that you are fit to dive.
