About This Course
If you are interested in a full- or part-time diving career, then this is your first step on the professional ladder. You will develop your knowledge to a professional level, and learn how to supervise diving activities and assist with other divers in training. The minimum age is 18 years.

- Role and characteristics of the PADI Divemaster
- Supervising dive activities and assisting with student divers
- Diver safety and risk management
- Divemaster conducted programs and specialized skills
- Business of diving and your career
- Awareness of the dive environment
- Dive setup and management
- Mapping an open water site
- Conducting dive briefings
- Organizing a search and recovery project and a deep dive
- Conducting a scuba review and skin diver course
- Assisting with Discover Scuba Diving and leading Discover Local Diving programs
- As a potential applicant you can visit PADI online to get familiar with the contents and insights of the Divemaster course.
- Another option is to study by reading the Divemaster Manual and watching the Divemaster Video, both paired in a package deal.
- don’t forget to bring a copy of a valid passport
